What is a skin infection and is it contagious?

My friend had the shingles something like 3 weeks ago and now she have just found out that she have a skin infection in the exact same spot the shingles be. I am a little afraid about individual around her cause i don't know if i can arrest it or not? She works in the strength care area and is most likely where on earth she got it.What is a skin infection and is it contagious?
If you get chicken pox as a child you might get shingles its an full-grown form but I never heard of anyone catching if from another soul.

Shingles is a form of adult chicken pox and yes they are contagious.
There are plentiful different types of skin infections and yes, some are contagious, just as your friend contracted the disease, so can you.

don't think shingles is infectious. they presume shingles is caused by the virus that cause chickenpox but I think they own their heads up their reverse end on this one. It's concerned of like them maxim HIV causes AIDS which is the differing of what evidence says. Can't really trust medical experts.
