What do you give attention to of this? Have we see a cure for any disease or disease contained by your lifetime?

Is there any hope within finding a cure for diseases? Why would the drug companies want to cure an illness when near is no money in it? If we find cures for illnesses afterwards the big phamaceutical companies that create drugs to ease our stomach-ache and help traffic with the disease would step bankrupt. Finding cures for disease would greatly hurt our cutback by eliminating the requirement for the multi billion dollar drug industry. Are people even working on finding cures? If here is no money in finding a cure and simply money in creating drugs to support with the twinge, etc. then do companies even fund the research to find a cure? What if a cure have been found but they won't report us b/c it would ruin our economy?
I ask these question b/c I am so frustrated! My loved one may have Juvenile Rhematoid Arthritis and I consistency so helpless. Are they ever going to find a cure? Is anyone even working on curing this or just alleviating the torment with drugs?

In the US Polio have been eliminate almost totally. I went to institution with a boy next to it He is still living. The research into diseases is ongoing, especially HIV, Cancer and autoimmune Diseases. I will not give up hope and hold on to up with adjectives the medical free publications that I can. Stem cell research is in it's infancy, but I believe to see a conveyance in the subsequent 10 years... Hoping!
The doctors think my son have Rhematoid Arthritis, We are still going through a bunch of tests and I also get the impression so helpless.
