My daughter is 12 years old and weigh 130 pounds. What should her dosage be (mg). Just curious, because she is developing allergies and I take zyrtec for my allergies and be thinking about giving her partially of a pill (5mg) to see if it helps.What dosage of Zyrtec should a 12 year dated child be on?
At 130 pounds she would be fine beside a 10mg pill. I'd give it to her at hours of darkness just within case it make her drowsy. My 4 year old son is on 5mg of gooey Zyrtec, she can certainly tolerate 10mg., no problem.
At age 12 she can appropriate a full dose of 10mg.
I wouldn't give her any until you own spoken with you're doctor as you're daughter could be allergic to something within the Zyrtec tablets that you are not aware of.
