There was no sign of HPV, but obligation to have a biopsy and colposcopy within a few days. The fact that I tested cynical for hpv, should I be overly concerned. Could the atypical cells be cancerous?
Thank youWhat does atypical glandular cell have it in mind after have an remarkable pap smear?
I have the same article neg for HPV etc... The cells can develop into cancer HOWEVER it could also be a std or only just abnormal cell growth. Mine be the latter and I had a division of my cervix removed by laser. It has be 4 years and a baby since my nonstandard pap smear. The best thing though is the rash detection! Don't panic and do as your doctor charge with the assessment and all. Hopefully it may be nought as in my armour but atleast if it is you will have caught it contained by early stages! Good Luck your surrounded by my prayers!!
This is a type of dysplasia which is pre-cancerous and will be treated according to the stage. Most likely you will enjoy what is called a LEEP procedure where on earth a wire loop is passed through your cervix that removes the pre-cancerous lesion. This usually makes a "cure" rate more or less 90% effective. Here is a informative link.
